My love for cooking started long before SoFull Creations. I grew up in the small town of Evington, Virginia, where family wasn’t just close—we were literally surrounded by one another. My mom, and majority of her brothers and sisters all lived on the same family land, so I grew up with aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and family right outside the door. And with my dad’s side of the family only about 20 minutes away, family was never far in any direction.

Some of my earliest memories are tied to family, food, and the kitchen. I learned by watching the people who raised me—my mom, my dad, my aunts, and my grandmothers—prepare meals that brought everybody together. Food wasn’t just something we ate. It was how we gathered, celebrated, cared for one another, and showed love.

I carried those lessons with me, added my own flavor, and eventually turned that lifelong passion into SoFull Creations.

Today, I’m Chef Trice—a mother, U.S. Army veteran, entrepreneur, Founder and Executive Chef. What began on that family land in Evington has grown into a full-service catering company and now our next chapter: SoFull Kitchen & Market.

For me, this will always be bigger than food. It’s about family, service, community, and legacy. It’s about honoring the people and the place that helped shape me while building something my children can one day look at and say, “My mama built that.”
